Standing at the base of Jabal al-Nour and hearing the story of the Cave of Hira gave me chills — our guide explained it like no book ever could.

Everything about this experience

Give your heart to the prayer, not the logisticsWhat to expect, in full

Step into the sacred landscape that shaped Islam's earliest history and its greatest pilgrimage, on this private guided tour accompanied by a Hi Hijaz Verified guide whose role goes far beyond pointing out scenery. Every stop comes with authentic, carefully researched information, shared with genuine passion — this isn't a quick photo stop, but an unhurried, immersive experience that feels closer to a guided lesson in Islamic history than a typical sightseeing tour. The route traces the two mountains where revelation and migration began, both viewed and narrated from their base — Jabal al-Nour, where the first verses of the Qur'an descended upon the Prophet ﷺ in the Cave of Hira, and Jabal Thawr, where he and Abu Bakr took refuge during the Hijrah — before a relaxed rest stop midway, and then following the very route of the Hajj itself through Mina, Muzdalifa, and the plain of Arafat, where Jabal Ar-Rahmah marks the site of the Prophet's ﷺ Farewell Sermon. By the end, visitors come away with a real, authentic understanding of why these places anchor the Hajj and the story of early Islam, not a superficial glance. More than a simple tour, this is a deep dive into the events, figures, and places that continue to define Makkah's sacred legacy — guided by someone dedicated to sharing their true, authentic significance. Ideal for those seeking both spiritual reflection and real historical insight, in a private, unhurried setting where nothing is rushed and every detail is grounded in fact.

What pilgrims say

4.9Based on 3 verified bookings
OOmar S.Verified booking · July 2026

Great overview of the whole Hajj route — Mina, Muzdalifa, and Arafat all made sense in context. Would have liked a bit more time at Jabal Thawr, but overall an excellent experience.

FFatima N.Verified booking · July 2026

Seeing Arafat and Jabal Ar-Rahmah in person, and understanding what happens there during Hajj, was incredibly moving. Highly recommend before or after your own Hajj or Umrah.

Questions pilgrims ask

Good to know before you book

What to bring & good to know
  • · Modest dress is required at all sites. Comfortable, closed walking shoes are recommended. Several stops — particularly Mina, Muzdalifa, and Arafat — are open, outdoor sites with little to no shade, so sun protection, a hat, and sunglasses are strongly advised, alongside a water bottle; bottled water is also provided on board.
Restrictions & accessibility
Jabal al-Nour (Cave of Hira) and Jabal Thawr are viewed and narrated from ground level as part of this tour; climbing to either cave is not included and involves a steep, strenuous ascent unsuitable for most visitors. Mina, Muzdalifa, and Arafat involve walking on open, sometimes uneven or sandy ground. Please contact us in advance if you have mobility needs so we can advise on accessibility at each site.
Payment & cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour, full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time are non-refundable. Booking requires at least 24 hours' notice. Secure payment by card or major digital wallets.
