We require explicit consent before placing any non-essential tracker. A consent banner appears on your first visit. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the “Cookies and marketing preferences” link at the bottom of every page — as easily as you gave it. Your choice is kept for six months, after which you will be asked again.

Strictly necessary — no consent required

The site cannot work without these, and they are set regardless of your choice.

• hihijaz_cookie_consent — records your tracker preferences. Stored in your browser and never sent to anyone.
• Stripe — sets the cookies required to process a payment securely and to guard against fraudulent submissions. These cannot be disabled during checkout. See stripe.com/gb/cookie-settings.
• Your login credentials are kept locally in your browser rather than in a cookie.

Functional — consent required

• NEXT_LOCALE — remembers the language you are reading the site in, so you do not have to pick it again on every visit. Refusing this breaks nothing: the site simply forgets your preference from one page to the next.

Analytics — consent required

Google Analytics measures page views, session duration, device type and traffic sources so we can improve the site.

• _ga and _ga_53ZNLQ6JPG — keep a browser identifier for two years.
• FPID (two years) and FPLC (twenty hours) — set by our own measurement server, sgtm.hihijaz.com, so that measurement does not depend on a third-party domain.

You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Advertising — consent required

Meta measures how our advertising campaigns perform and lets us show relevant ads.

• _fbp — identifies your browser to Meta for ninety days.
• _fbc — lasting the same, stores the click identifier when you reach the site from a Facebook or Instagram ad. Together they let a booking be traced back to the ad that prompted it.

Recipients

Google Ireland Limited for audience measurement, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for advertising, Stripe for payment. These providers may process your data outside the European Union and the United Kingdom, under the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell any browsing data.
